its my 4th reflection already ! And you know what ? there are fews days left for our mock teaching ! I am so dead!! really need to prepare myself since Im the third presenter (bcoz my name starts from A 😢 why mom whyyyyy!)
And again I was absent to class. But this time it is because
im taking care of my niece which is only
6y/o. Actually her mom was warded in the hospital due to affected by dengue,
and her father was in outstation on that time so I have to replace their
responsibility of taking care of my niece. But luckily she’s recovering now and
her husband came back already, thank goodness 😊
Yeah.. you know lesson plan is very important to be a
teacher. It is a teacher's detailed description of the course or "learning trajectory". It is developed by teachers to guide class learning. We need to have goals about what are the students supposed to learn. We need to
have plans before educating people, you can’t just came to class and teach bla3x
without planning. Then it won’t be an effective learning session. To conclude, lesson plan is the teacher's guide to run a particular lesson.
So, for our 4th
reflection task we are assigned to "design my own structure of lesson plan"
Well yeah ! that's all, really need deep sleep right now (5 more minutes before 3am) 😂
So as you can see this is one of the lesson plan template. To make it clear, imma gonna explain it to you okay?
Form/class, subject, topic, date and time are required to be filled.
Level of proficiency: To measure the difficulty level of the lesson should be.There are 5 categories, such as Beginning level, Early intermediate, Intermediate, Early Advanced, Advanced.
for example the begining level, teachers can teach the basic topics such as nouns, "nouns is a word which names a person, things, place or animals. Person = a girl, baby, Robinson Crusoe"
Background Knowledge: Refers to what the students have been taught in previously.
Learning Objective: The goals of the teacher about what the students are going to be taught. i think 1 or 2 are good enough.
Learning Outcomes: The students achievements. Learning outcomes are the statements that specify what learners will know as the results. It Should be more than the learning objectives.
Values: It the moral values that can came out from the lesson.
Teaching Aids: Are the tools/apparatus used by the teacher that can help the learners improve their learning academic. For example flash cards, blackboard, LCD Projector.
Teaching and learning approaches: Teachers should list down new teaching and learning approaches to make the lesson be more interesting, instead of the conventional times where students just listen and absorbs all the information from the teacher. it supposed to be more fun.
example: Mentor mentee
KBKK: Stands for "Kemahiran Berfikir Secara Kritif dan Kreatif" and also known as Critical and Creative Thinking Skills to instill in learners nowadays.
So as you can see there's explaination about certain part from the picture above (information, verification, activity)
Summary: To conclude what had happen during learning session. Teachers can include additional notes to improve their teaching skills and fix their weaknesses.
Well yeah ! that's all, really need deep sleep right now (5 more minutes before 3am) 😂

| its kinda funny but true right? Sometimes we need a life too even as a student 😂 but manage your time wisely okay baby 😏 |

Hello Anish~ A different way u created for your lesson plan~ Can I know the difference between verification and activity?
ReplyDeleteIsn't conducting activities is a way to "check students understanding"? Looking forward to your reply~ :) GLHF on ur mock teaching next week~
Hello jeremy, yes it is also a way to check their understanding. but verification is more like you are asking them what they had learn on that day. you cannot put the activity in the verification, cause there a many ways to identify whether they're understand or not. so , by specifying the columns it will make it arranged properly.
DeleteHi there! An unusual template of lesson plan.
ReplyDeleteJust a question for you. Why is it at the bottom of your lesson plan, there's a note section, Note: printable in the courtesy of LessonPlan4Teachers.com??
hahahaha because im downloading it form google :D you got me !
DeleteHye Asrianis.. Thanks for sharing.. Actually I attract with your blog. Normally, before we do anything, we cal fell nervous..But its okay after that. so, cool and rilek. And about the picture, its kinda funny but true. Sometimes we need a life too even as a student 😂 but manage your time wisely..We need stability to manage our time.. Nice to meet you.
ReplyDeletehye there, new friend :) thanks for spending your time reading my blogs. its nice to know you too :) well feel free to comments my pages anytime okay ?
DeleteHello there! I hope your niece’s mother is feeling better now. Please do send my regards to her. Anyway, great job in the blog and good explanation. I have a question for you. Just what to know is it a must for learning outcomes to be more than learning objectives? If you do not mind do provide your explanation too. Take care my friend and hoping a reply from you soon 😃
ReplyDeleteThankyou for your concern again my friend, i'll send to her. for me learning outcomes is important, because it is to ensure if we achieved our learning objective or not. learning outcomes is important because it has specific measurement to identify students understanding levels :)
DeleteHi friend. Your lesson plan looks good. But I would like to ask one question that how you will separate or shows the three stages like introduction, development and closure in your lesson plan? Hoping a reply from you girl.
ReplyDeleteHye there, hmm about that, we can just add more collums at the bottom on the left side, and put it one by one.
DeleteWao!! We have the completely same 'upper part' lesson plan!!!
ReplyDeleteso sorry for the late feedback.
what is the different between 'overview & purpose' with 'learning objective and outcomes'?
looking forward for your answer! Thank you
haha yeah, how unintentionally right ? i think overview is like you a brief of summary
Deletebut purpose is something that influence goal, it is the reason for achieving the goal. i hope im still answering your question
Hmm......
DeleteHi there my dear, I can see u was really busy the whole week.. YOu did a really good job on creating your own lesson plan and it looks totally different then what all of have done.. Do u think materials that we use during the lesson should be according to the stages or you can actually compile it up?? Looking forward to your answer
ReplyDeletei think both can , either you want to follow the stages or just compile it up. it is up to you, to make the class more interesting
DeleteHi Anish! Can you explain more about education standard address?
ReplyDeleteHmm.. education standard address describes learning objectives, it is about what the students should have learned by the end of the course, grade level, grade span. but they do not describe any particular teaching practice, curriculum, or assessment method
DeleteHello Anis!! Impressive and attractive blog post you have done. I like the way you explain. Thank you for the informations ya!!
ReplyDeletehye there, most welcome. i am very appreciate your compliments thank you :)
